General-duty trailers can spend one week moving landscaping materials and the next carrying machinery. Their maintenance needs depend on load, storage and working environment as much as mileage.
Mechanical service
Our servicing can cover brakes and cables where fitted, drums, hubs, bearings, tyres, wheels, coupling, breakaway equipment, suspension/running gear and road lighting.
Body hardware
We can note obvious defects in mesh sides, ramps, catches and body hardware where relevant to safe use. Major fabrication or structural repair is assessed separately.
If possible, include the model, approximate age, axle/brake identification and photographs when you contact us. This helps us confirm workshop suitability and identify parts before the trailer arrives.
Frequently asked questions
Do you service Ifor Williams GD trailers?
We work on many common Ifor Williams utility and general-duty trailers. Contact us with the exact model if known.
Can you service both braked and unbraked utility trailers?
Yes. The inspection scope differs, but bearings, tyres, coupling, lights and general condition remain important on an unbraked trailer.
