What we inspect
Depending on design, servicing can include brakes, drums, hubs, bearings, tyres and wheels, coupling and overrun system, breakaway equipment, suspension/running gear and road lights.
Storage-related faults
Horse trailers are often parked for long periods between events or seasons. That can allow brakes to seize, tyres to age and crack, bearings to deteriorate and electrical connections to corrode even with low annual mileage.
Visible floor and ramp condition
We can flag obvious deterioration seen during workshop servicing. A normal mechanical service is not a specialist structural certification of the horse compartment, floor or body.
If possible, include the model, approximate age, axle/brake identification and photographs when you contact us. This helps us confirm workshop suitability and identify parts before the trailer arrives.
