Box and enclosed trailers protect the load from weather but their running gear still lives in the same harsh road environment as any other trailer.
Mechanical servicing
Braked models can have drums, shoes, cables, hubs and bearings inspected as appropriate. Unbraked trailers still need bearing, tyre, coupling and chassis checks.
Lighting and wiring
Rear lamps, marker lights, number-plate lights, plug, cable and connectors can all be affected by water, vibration and previous repairs.
Doors and body hardware
We can note obvious faults in doors, catches, hinges and visible hardware as part of the work, while major body or structural repairs are assessed separately.
If possible, include the model, approximate age, axle/brake identification and photographs when you contact us. This helps us confirm workshop suitability and identify parts before the trailer arrives.
